The 16th Annual Newcastle Business Park Fun Run is taking place on
Thursday 18th September 2008, 6.00pm BA Carpark Riverside
As in previous years, the route will be a 2.2 mile circuit of the business park, beginning and ending in the BA riverside car park with an alternative shorter riverside route for walkers.

Prizes will be awarded to winners and other participants on the race day, and all entrants will gain free entry to the raffle with an opportunity to win a host of fantastic prizes including British Airways flights to New York.

Entry to the fun run is £8. This includes one free raffle ticket, a goody bag and refreshments after the race. All of the entry fee is donated to the sponsored charities.Download the printable entry form here

The race is open to all business park employees, their friends and family, aged 16 and over. Children are welcome on the walkers route accompanied by an adult.
Race Details
There will be two events again this year, both START and FINISH at British Airways Riverside Car Park. Click to view the map.
- Race for runners
The usual 2.2 mile course within Newcastle Business Park.
- For those wanting to participate in the event (but with less effort)
walk along the riverside to the Environment Agency and back.
- Competitors must be employees, or family and friends of employees, based at Newcastle Business Park.
- Competitors must be aged 16 years or over on 18th September 2008.
- Entries are welcomed from individuals and teams.
- Teams will consist of 4 members, including at least one female.
- Team entries should be sent in the same envelope.
- Entry fee is £8 per person.
- Entries close on 15th September.
- Runners packs, including race numbers, will be sent out prior to the race once the entry fee has been received.
- On the day, competitors are asked to arrive for registration in the BA riverside car park at 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start.
- As in previous years, refreshments, the presentation of prizes and the raffle draw will be held in the British Airways Office after the event.
