The Grace House North East Children's Hospice Appeal is raising funds to build, equip and run an eight bed children's hospice for children across the North East.
Over 1,000 families in our region require hospice care, and Grace House will provide a home from home: A loving environment where children and their families may turn to for support."

We have over 170,000 members. We work for people with diabetes, their carers, family and friends. We represent the interests of all people with diabetes by lobbying the government for better standards of care and the best quality of life.
Diabetes UK's research budget for 2008 is £7.38 million - our biggest ever - which we spend on research to improve the treatment of diabetes and search for a cure.
